"Residence on the street"
Presentation of pictures with Wiesbaden motifs in the shop window of Wilhelmstrasse 6 from December 3, 2023 to January 7, 2024.
The contrasts of Wiesbaden are captured in just under 10 square meters:
- “Kiosk am Äquator”, “Öhrlein’s Trinkhalle”: The kiosks are a point of contact for residents of Dotzheim and the Bergkirchen district for everyday, small errands.
- “Kurhaus – Casino”, “Rue” showcase tourist highlights of Wiesbaden and the boutique displays on the Rue cater to more discerning tastes.
A great opportunity to combine art and culture with a wonderful winter (shopping) walk.
Enjoy your stroll!

ART IN WIESBADEN - ART FROM WIESBADEN
22. - 30. November 2022

Exhibition “Art in Wiesbaden – Art from Wiesbaden” in the town hall
On Tuesday, November 22nd, at 1 p.m., Mayor Gert-Uwe Mende will open the exhibition “Art in Wiesbaden – Art from Wiesbaden” in the foyer of the town hall, Schlossplatz 6.
In this exhibition, six members of the "505 Art on the Rhine" group, together with three guest artists, have artistically expressed their perspectives on the city of Wiesbaden. Around 50 works illuminate the multifaceted city of Wiesbaden from various angles. The aim is to convey a vivid picture of Wiesbaden to visitors – from Wiesbaden artists who live and work in this city and along the river. Annette Scharner founded the "505 Art on the Rhine" artists' group in 2019 to revitalize the art scene in Biebrich and the neighboring suburbs along the Rhine and to create a network for visual artists. Since then, the group has met regularly in one of their studios to exchange ideas, plan exhibitions, and organize events. Following a welcome address by the mayor, Anette Scharner and Wolfgang Blanke will introduce the exhibition. The exhibition will be accompanied by music performed by Ilse Schröder on the saxophone.
The exhibition can be visited from November 22nd to November 30th, Mondays to Fridays from 10 am to 7 pm and Saturdays from 10 am to 3 pm, with free admission.
